Drishyam will follow the events described in the prequel

In a recent conversation with News Channel, Mohanlal revealed that Drishyam will focus on the events described in the prequel. The superstar also made it clear that this sequel will answer all questions the audience encounters after watching the first movie.

According to Mohanlal, the movie script of this highly anticipated sequel is impressive, adding that Jeethu Joseph conceived the concept of the film.

Drishyam portrays the struggle of Georgekutty and his family to cover up the accidental murder they committed. According to reports, this sequel will describe some of the events that occurred after George Couty ’s successful murder cover-up.

Drishyam 2 replaces Ram

A few months ago, Jeethu Joseph announced that he would produce a large movie “Ram”, with Mohanlal as the protagonist. South Indian actress Trisha Krishnan (Trisha Krishnan) was invited to play the heroine in this thriller. However, the accidental coronavirus outbreak put things upside down and the producer was forced to postpone the release of the film.

As Ram was postponed indefinitely, Jeethu Joseph wrote the script of Drishyam 2. It should be noted that the production cost of Drishyam 2 is very small, and the shooting will be carried out in rural Kerala.

Mohanlal is currently waiting for the release of “Marakkar: Arabicakalinte Simham” directed by Priyadarshan. In addition to Mohanlar, the film also played Manju Warrier, Prabhu Ganesan, Arjun Sarja and Pranav Mohanlal.
