F.I.R actress Mahika Sharma raised her concerns about protecting a rhino horn at World Environment Day. The actress thanks the Assam government for doing all it can to protect the rare rhinoceros.
“The attempt to poach has always been a tension in the Assam government. Innocent rhinos are paying for their talented rhino horns. I don’t know when humans will show humanity and kindness to animals and the environment.”
According to reports, India was disturbed by the corona virus being blocked because the rare one-horned rhino was killed in Kaziranga National Park in Assam. A horned rhino was killed because the price of their horns on the black market was about $150,000 per kilogram and $60,000 per kilogram. It is usually used as a foreign demand in Chinese medicine.
The former Northeast Teen Miss urged the Assam State government: “I thank Mr. Sabanand Sonoyal and Shimanta Biswa Salma for ensuring the safety of rhinos, but they need further security and Poaching takes strict action.”
Kaziranga Park has always been the main habitat of these rhinos. World Environment Day was first held in 1974 and celebrates World Nature Day on June 5 every year to encourage people to take consciousness and take action to protect the environment.
